CEBU CITY -- The town mayor of Bien Unido in Bohol Province was shot once in the nape as he stopped to greet two friends on his way home, after attending a sitio fiesta Saturday afternoon.

Mayor Felix "Lingging" Garcia, 47, is the second public official attacked in Bohol during the election period, following the foiled ambush last Feb. 13 on Bohol Gov. Erico Aumentado.
