3 killed in north expressway collision (11:47 a.m.)

MANILA -- Three people died and 18 others were hurt when two trucks and a passenger bus collided with each other along the North Luzon Expressway (Nlex) in Apalit town, Pampanga, located north of Manila, at 1 a.m. Monday.

Traffic police identified the fatalities as Emelito Camba, Rosauro Soliman and Geraldine Mulacruz.

Those injured were brought to different hospitals in Pampanga.

Investigation showed that a trailer truck hit a dump truck, which bumped a Five Star Bus. (Sunnex Luzon)
