CEBU CITY (updated 4:00 p.m.)-- The lawyer of Philippine Benevolent Missionaries Association (PBMA) supreme master Ruben Ecleo Jr. is asking the police not to speculate in their investigation on the death of private prosecutor Arbet Sta. Ana-Yongco who was shot dead Monday morning.
Orlando Salatandre Jr. said they were shocked of the news and it was even Ecleo who texted him past 11 Monday morning about the incident.

PDEA, DOJ to ask for shabu chief return
CEBU CITY -- The Philippine Government will be asking the Hong Kong court to allow the extradition of alleged shabu laboratory financier Calvin de Jesus Tan so he can face the charges filed against him before the Mandaue City Regional Trial Court (RTC).
In a meeting Sunday night, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director Anselmo Avenido Jr. and Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez agreed to jointly write a letter of request so Tan could be sent back home immediately. |
