DAVAO CITY -- Mayor Rodrigo Duterte lambasted representatives of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and called them idiots.

The IFJ along with the National Union of Journalists of the Philippines (NUJP) came out with a report citing "two mayors from the south who are openly supporting the use of death squads in dealing with unruly elements in their town."
