Erap rushed to hospital for high fever (2:38 P.M.)
MANILA -- Former President Joseph Estrada was rushed to the Cardinal Santos hospital in Greenhills, San Juan Tuesday because of high fever, his spokesman said.
Former Maguindanao lawmaker Didagen Dilangalen, Estrada's spokesman, in a television interview said Estrada suffered from high fever but assured that there's nothing alarming about the deposed leader's condition.
Dilangalen said laboratory test has been conducted on Estrada and there has been no advise on his confinement.
He said Estrada has been sick since Sunday and it was Dr. Lorenzo Jocson, the former president's personal physician, who decided to airlift him to the hospital. (Sunnex) |
