Security for First Family tightened (9:25 p.m.)

PRESIDENTIAL Security Group (PSG) commander Delfin Bangit Tuesday said security for the members of the First Family has been intensified due to Monday's bombings although President Arroyo's provincial trips will still push through.

Colonel Bangit said extra security measures have been imposed around Malacaņang and on each member of the First Family.

The PSG has been placed on red alert after three explosions rocked Makati, Davao and General Santos cities Monday night. (Sunnex Luzon/RB)
