Manila street collapses (5:20 p.m.)

MANILA -- A portion of Adriatico Street in Manila sunk by five feet. No one was reported injured or killed in the incident.

Two vehicles that were parked in the area fell into the holewhen the road gave way.

Police said an excavation in a construction site nearby allegedly caused the street to collapse. (JFF)
