Edsa 1 anniversary activities called off (2:05 p.m.)
MANILA -- Malacaņang Palace has cancelled all official activities scheduled Friday in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Edsa People Power 1 revolt.
This was announced by Press Secretary Ignacio Bunye, who is also Presidential spokesman, in a press conference in the Palace.
Bunye said the cancellation of the official celebration of Edsa 1 was made by Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita. (Sunnex) |
