Oracion, Emata reunite with RP team in Mt. Everest base camp (4:10 p.m.)

MANILA -- Filipino Everest climbers Leo Oracion and Pastor Emata mid-afternoon of Friday have arrived at the Mt. Everest base camp amid jubilation and hugs by the members of the Philippine Mt. Everest Expedition.

Both said it was very difficult climbing the world's highest peak but they still managed to reach their goal. They thanked all Filipinos and their families for their prayers and support for their endeavor.

Oracion and Emata were given Filipino food prepared by the expedition members. (Sunnex)
