Cop in drug list flees from Davao police office (6:10 p.m.)
ONE of the two Davao City policemen suspected to be involved in the illegal drug trade in the city disappeared from the Davao City Police Office (DCPO) compound where he was held under restriction.
DCPO director Catalino Cuy said PO3 Arnold Dechavez escaped at around 1 a.m. Wednesday when there was a "changing of guard."
Cuy said an investigation is now ongoing. He said four cops were detailed to secure Dechavez and his fellow accused, PO3 Enrique Ayao, at all times. (BOT of Sun.Star Davao)
