Sketch of assassin in foiled slay plot released By Rhodamame M. Hernandez
DAVAO CITY -- The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said it already has a cartographic sketch of the assassin out to get House majority floor leader Prospero C. Nograles.
Lawyer Reynaldo Esmeralda, NBI deputy director of regional operations services, told Sun.Star the security escort of the congressman, saw a man on board a red motorcycle passed by Nograles' house several times, a week before the alleged foiled plot to assassinate him.

Considering there is a perceived threat, Esmeralda said they simply have to gather more information.
"Life's at stake here and di pwedeng balewalain ang info na sinabi (we can't just ignore it)," Esmeralda said.
He also brushed off speculations that the Nograles camp was just making up the assassination attempt story.
"We investigated the case before we told the media about it. We have proof," Esmeralda told Sun.Star.
He said that when they were informed about the assassination plan, they did not know that the congressman had a scheduled engagement at the Grand Men Seng Hotel.
He added that after evaluating the information they got, they are now convinced that it is true.
Esmeralda claimed that one of those tagged in the plot was the man who was seen in the red motorcycle. (Sun.Star Davao/Sunnex)
