Raps prepared v. Loren's ex-hubby (10:25 a.m.)

MANILA -- The estranged husband of former senator Loren Legarda will be charged with either homicide or murder charges on Monday for the killing of his associate inside his office in Makati City last Friday.

The police had said that the case against former Batangas governor Jose Antonio Leviste will depend on the outcome of their investigation on the shooting to death of Rafael de la Alas, 68, a close friend of the former local official, to find out if the killing was premeditated.

Leviste surrendered to the police and to Makati City Mayor Jejomar Binay hours after the incident but he was rushed to the Makati Medical Center (MMC) after his blood pressure shot up. (Sunnex)
