RP mulls air talks with 7 nations (10:20 a.m.)
MANILA -- The government is eyeing the holding of negotiations to increase flights or inaugurate new ones with seven countries this year, a senior official of the Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) said.
Porvenir P. Porciuncula, deputy executive director and head of economic planning of the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB), they are scheduling air talks with countries in Asia and Middle East and Canada.
"We have air talks with Macau, Palau, Korea, Canada, Russia, Oman and Libya lined up this year," Porciuncula told reporters. (MSN)
