Senator Lapid's backers vow votes for Mark, Laus By Marna H. Dagumboy
MABALACAT -- Staunch supporters of Senator Manuel "Lito" Lapid on Tuesday promised to deliver solid votes for Pampanga Governor Mark Lapid, who is seeking reelection, and his running mate Paul "Concon" Laus.
During Tuesday's motorcade and caucus at the Madapdap and Mawaque Resettlement sites, residents welcomed Senator Lapid and all local candidates of the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD).

Pedrito Salunga, a Madapdap Resettlement resident, said he is a "number one" supporter of the senator, adding that he will vote for Mark and Concon if only to heed the lawmaker's call to support them.
Senator Lapid endorsed the governor and Concon, appealing to his fans and supporters to vote for the two in the May 14 elections. He committed his support to the candidacies of Mark and Laus.
"I'm calling on our cabalen to support Mark and Concon for them to continue good programs for the Kapampangans. Let us help the governor continue his programs and would-be programs that would further boost the economy in Pampanga," he said.
Meanwhile, Conchita dela Cruz, also of Madapdap Resettlement, said no one could persuade her to change her mind to vote for Mark and Concon.
She said Mark and Concon, once elected, would push for more reforms in the province. They have assured the Kapampangans of "good and moral governance." (Sun.Star Pampanga/Sunnex)
