MANILA -- Over 1 million votes have not been counted by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) after it deferred the canvassing of five more certificates of canvass (COCs) due to "discrepancies."
CEBU CITY -- Because of “serious doubts” on whether these poll forms are authentic, the Special Board of Canvassers decided Thursday to bring 15 election returns (ER) from Bogo to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Manila.
DAVAO CITY -- The Commission on Elections (Comelec) enforced a total gun ban on the province of Davao del Sur starting May 22, but said it sees no reason to put the area under its control.
CEBU CITY -- The ex-policeman tagged as the gunman in the fatal shooting of Sta. Fe mayoral aspirant Rogelio Ilustrisimo Sr. is willing to take a polygraph test to prove his innocence.
