6 killed, 5 wounded in DavSur bus bombing (10:35 p.m.)

SIX people were killed while five others were wounded in a bomb blast inside a Weena bus Friday in Bansalan, Davao del Sur.

The explosion, according to an ANC report, occurred half an hour later after a separate bus, also owned by the Weena Bus Company, was bombed at past 5 p.m.

No one was hurt in the first incident since the explosion occurred 15 minutes after passengers disembarked from the bus.

The police are eyeing extortion as motive in the bombing. (Sunnex)
