Pampanga official 'pushes away' reporter (9:45 p.m.)

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- For the second time around, Pampanga Provincial Administrator Vivian Dabu showed anew arrogance to the local media after she "shoved away" a local television reporter at the Capitol on Tuesday.

Hervee Faustino, reporter of Central Luzon TV 36, said he asked Dabu for an interview if she would apologize to the local media following the "arrogance and discrimination" that she displayed during the inaugural of Governor Eddie Panlilio on June 30.

Dabu told Faustino: "What for?" after which he continued to ask about the misunderstanding between the provincial administrator and the local media, to which again Dabu said, "What misunderstanding?"

Faustino claimed that after he asked his query, Dabu shoved his microphone away saying, "Stop it! Stop it!" (Marna H. Dagumboy of Sun.Star Pampanga)
