Tornado hits 3 Candaba villages (9:57 p.m.)

CANDABA -- A tornado struck three barangays here at 4 p.m. Monday, leaving two people, including a child, injured and displacing 12 families, reports said.

The victims were identified only as Erwin, 12, and one Beng Chu, a stay-in worker of a duck farm.

A total of 12 houses located in Barangays Tinejero, Talang, and Dalayab were damaged by the tornado while two were destroyed.

Maricris Santos, a resident of Barangay Tinejero, said she and her family were inside their home when the tornado hit their area. (Joel P. Mapiles of Sun.Star Pampanga)
