Guvs in S. Mindanao vow to invest more on security measures (6:47 p.m.)

DAVAO CITY -- The four governors of Southern Mindanao region vowed to invest more on the security measures in their respective provinces after a talk with Regional Peace and Order Council chair and Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday.

The mayor briefed the provincial executives on the security situation in the region during the Davao Integrated Development Program (DIDP) meeting at the Grand Regal Hotel.

Duterte presented to the governors and other mayors the security measures they are implementing at the Davao City Overland Transport Terminal (DCOTT) in Ecoland.

The presentation was made by Task Force Davao chief Colonel Allan Luga. Also present in the said meeting were Chief Superintendent Andres Caro, Police Regional Office-Southern Mindanao chief, and Eastern Mindanao Command chief Lieutenant General Rodolfo Obaniana. (BOT of Sun.Star Davao)
