Cops file rape raps vs. 6 scions anew By Rhodamae M. Hernandez
DAVAO CITY -- Police revived rape charges against six men accused of raping a sixteen-year-old girl inside a car on Marfori Street in Davao City last month.
This time, the victim's friend, who was with her and who invited the young men to drink beer with them, is included in the charges -- the seventh in the complaint sheet.

The City Prosecutor's Office earlier dismissed the charges after the girl gave confusing details about the incident.
In dismissing the charges, the prosecutor told the girl has to get her story right and file the case again.
The suspects--identified as Andrew (complete name withheld for being a minor), Jeff Anthony Ho, Kenneth Abad, and Carla Marfori plus three other unidentified men--were accused of conspiring and raping the victim last July 12.
In her affidavit, the victim said she was with her friends Mica, Ira, and Marfori at Gaisano Mall that morning. At around 11:30 a.m., they decided to go to a private school in Buhangin. Marfori, however, urged the victim to go with her somewhere else.
She said she boarded a taxi with Marfori and was told they would be going to Opal Street. The girl claimed she heard her companion saying to someone on her mobile phone, "Kita na lang tayo sa Opal, bay (Let's just meet up at Opal Street)."
At Opal Street in Marfori Heights, they went to a store where six young men were playing cards. She said they occupied another table where they ordered beer.
The girl claimed her companion invited the men to drink with them but the men refused because they still had not taken their lunch.
After a while though, the men joined their table, offering the victim more beer.
She pointed at Andrew as the one who handed her a glass from which she drank. She said she suddenly felt dizzy when she stood up to go to the store counter and felt someone, whom she later identified as Andrew, grip her hands and pull her to the vehicle.
The victim said she tried to resist but was too weak by then. Half-conscious, she heard somebody say, "Sa sasakyan, bay (Bring her to the vehicle)."
Next thing she knew she was laying on the back seat of a car while Andrew undressed her. She said she was too weak to put up a fight. She said Andrew succeeded in raping her.
She said she remembered throwing up, so Andrew got off her. She then noticed somebody holding her face and kissing her before she fell unconscious again.
The next time she gained consciousness, it was Ho on top of her. After a while, another man entered the car and raped her as well.
When all this was over, Andrew sat with her in the back seat and she felt the car move. After a short distance, the car stopped and Andrew helped her into her clothes. The car moved again.
The car finally stopped where they first took off and when Andrew opened the door, she saw her friend Ira angrily telling her to get out of the car. She said she was too weak to do so and was instead helped out by another friend.
The girl claimed she could not find Marfori anywhere and wondered why the latter did not even ask for help.
She said her friends brought her to a store of one Kuya Chico, where she rested for a while. There, she told Kuya Chico what happened, and they went to the San Pedro Police to report the incident.
The next day, she went to the police with her parents and positively identified Andrew and Ho after police arrested them. (Sun.Star Davao/Sunnex)
