San Luis mayor, 9 other officials face raps (9:19 p.m.)

PAMPANGA -- San Luis Mayor Jayson Sagum and Vice Mayor Felicidad Concepcion were charged before the Office of the Ombudsman.

The Ombudsman charged the two local officials for violating Section 4(c) of Republic Act (RA) 6713 or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees and violation of Section 3(e) of RA 3019 or the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.

The charges were filed by Remigio Tan Jr., a businessman based in town.

Also included in the charge sheet are Councilors Elsa Manliclic, Cesar Lagman, Arcadio Manalastas, Esmeralda Sub, Reynaldo Taruc, Roman Sagum and Erwin Clarin and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation president Marissa Sagum and Association of Barangay Captains president Emiliano Manliclic Jr. (Raymond C.
