4T nursing graduates in leakage to retake exam (5:05 p.m.)

MANILA—At least 4,000 nursing graduates involved in the controversial June 2006 licensure exam leakage would take advantage of the registration for the second Special Nursing Review Classes (SNRC), the Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) said.

Labor Secretary Arturo Brion said the 4,000 remaining nursing graduates of the total 17,000 are expected to voluntarily retake the Tests III and V of the Nursing Licensure Examination.

“All that a registrant has to do is to open an online computer and access the website provided for the Special Review program, www.specialnursingreview.dole.gov.ph, and follow the pertinent instructions in order to successfully register,” Brion said.

Registration ends on October 10 in time for the review proper that will start on October 13, 2007.

Aside from the online registration, Dole regional offices and the participating nursing schools are also open for manual registration. (MSN/Sunnex)
