MANILA(Updated 4:16 p.m.) -- An opposition politician filed an impeachment complaint Thursday against Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Benjamin Abalos before the House of Representatives over charges of bribery in connection with the broadband deal.
Iloilo Vice Governor Rolex Suplico in his 64-page complaint accused Abalos with culpable violation of the Constitution, betrayal of public trust, graft and corruption, and bribery.
