By Albert B. Lacanlale

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on Monday praised entrepreneurs in Pampanga as she congratulated 11 Kapampangan businesses that have helped develop Pampanga “as a new frontier for progress.”

Speaking during the “Go Negosyo sa Pampanga” caravan, initiated by the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE), the President said Kapampangan entrepreneurs have inspiring stories that are worthy to be shared to people who would like to go into business.

In Pampanga, the awardees as most inspiring entrepreneurs are Ryan Razon (Razon’s), Jose Bituin (Betis Crafts), Jaime Uy (Saver’s Mall), Prudencio Garcia (Mekeni Meat Products), Lolita Hizon (Pampanga’s Best), Michael Escaler (PASUDECO), Willy Tan (Hausland Development Corp.), Peter Nepomuceno (Nepomuceno Group of Companies), Teresa David-Carlos (Bank of Florida), Dr. Emmanuel Angeles (Angeles University Foundation) and Fatima del Rosario (Sasmuan Delicacies).

Monday’s Go Negosyo caravan is the latest leg of the PCE entrepreneurial campaign, which has already gone to Cebu, Bacolod, Baguio, and Manila.(Sun.star Pampanga)
