MANILA -- President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has approved recommendations by National Police Chief Avelino Razon Jr., raising a P1 million reward for the capture of fugitive Marine Captain Nicanor Faeldon.

Faeldon escaped during last Thursday's coup attempt at the Manila Peninsula Hotel in Makati City where his group, led by Brigadier General Danilo Lim and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, withdrew support from the President.
