ZAMBOANGA CITY -- Government troops killed one of the alleged mid-level leaders of the al Qaeda-linked Abu Sayyaf wanted by the US government in a clash on the island province of Tawi-Tawi.
The Naval Forces Western Mindanao (NFWM) reported that Abdul Mubin Sakandal was killed in a clash with government troops around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
