MANILA -- Two devotees were killed while at least 44 others were injured during the 401st annual feast of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo, Manila on Wednesday.

Alex Radovan, 44, a resident of 1881 Vicente Cruz Street, Sampaloc, Manila, was trampled to death by fellow devotees soon after the image of the Black Nazarene left the Minor Basilica (Quiapo Church). He was taken to the Ospital ng Maynila (Osma) by ambulance but was declared dead upon arrival at 2 p.m.
