Healing
Carmen town's concept meanwhile was healing. In its presentation, they showed a sick man who was healed by Sto. Niño.
Choreographer Angelo Manapsal said the setting of their presentation was the time of the Pintados (local healers) in Cebu.
Manapsal also said unity was behind their victory. "I told them (participants) to remember they are the original Sinulog. So I encouraged them to show to Cebu that they are worthy," he said.
The town of Carmen staged the Sinulog years ahead of Cebu City.
