Pinay dies in Kabul terror attack
MANILA -- A Filipino woman was among those killed in the suicide attack by Taliban terrorists in Kabul, Afghanistan over the weekend, the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) said.
The IFJ condemned on Tuesday the suicide attack that also left five other people dead, including a Norwegian reporter.

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) is now arranging the repatriation of the remains of the said Filipino worker.
DFA spokesman Claro Cristobal said they are sending consular officials to facilitate the immediate repatriation of the body of the Filipino worker.
Cristobal refused to give the name of the victim, but said the victim works as a Spa supervisor at the Serena Hotel in Kabul, Afghanistan.
The victim was one of the six critically wounded when suicide bombers attack the Serena Hotel, Monday night.
The victim was brought to Isaf military hospital in Kabul for immediate treatment. However, she was pronounced dead at 1:30 p.m. (Manila time).
The Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) imposed a deployment ban in Afghanistan last year due to the security and safety concerns. (MSN/Sunnex/With PNA)
