Bulldozer kills 1-year-old girl during reclamation work
CEBU CITY -- A one-year-old girl was found dead after she was buried in a lot where reclamation work was ongoing in Barangay Centro, Mandaue City Tuesday.
Aiza Manso was last seen playing near a bulldozer that was leveling a heap of soil in the site owned by FF Cruz Co.

The girl's aunt, Edna Manso, 31, said Aiza was last seen at 1 p.m. playing at the back of their house, which is near the area being reclaimed and where the bulldozer was.
Oscar Arizo, 27, drove the bulldozer.
When it was time for Aiza to go home, her family couldn't find her. A garbage boy told them he saw a girl playing a while ago behind the running bulldozer.
Aiza's family asked the construction workers to dig up the area where the bulldozer had worked. There they found the girl dead, her head crushed.
Edna said Aiza died without seeing her parents, who are said to be at the National Penitentiary.
Arizo, for his part, said he didn't notice anybody playing near his bulldozer at the time he was working, although he admitted that the height of the heavy equipment makes it difficult to notice if there's anybody below.
Arizo, who is from Catmon town, is detained at the Mandaue City Traffic City Division. (From Sun.Star SuperBalita Cebu)
