Zambo: Husband kills wife, injures her paramour (5:29 p.m.)

ZAMBOANGA CITY -- A husband who suspects that his wife was having an illicit affair with another man killed her and injured her alleged paramour in a knife attack in Zamboanga City, police reported Monday.

The Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) said the incident took place around 7 p.m. Friday in front of a pharmacy along Veterans Avenue in the village of Tetuan.

Slain was Evelyn Teves, of legal age, married, and a resident of Tetuan. She succumbed to multiple stab wounds in the body.

Wounded was Jupiter Barbas, a resident of Cabatangan village. He is admitted at the Zamboanga Doctors Hospital for treatment. (Bong Garcia/Sunnex)
