4 RCBC robbery suspects killed in clash
MANILA -- Four of the suspects in last week's bloody robbery at the Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) branch in Cabuyao town, Laguna province were shot dead by policemen in separate operations.
The incident left 10 people killed and several others injured.

Reports reaching the PNP national headquarters at Camp Crame in Quezon City disclosed that one of the suspects, identified as Pepito Magsino, 35, of Tanauan City, died in a clash at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday in Barangay Pagaspas in the city.

A police team from the Task Force RCBC was on a surveillance operation when they were fired upon by the suspects.
One of the policemen, identified as Reynaldo Salazar, was wounded in the operation.
Eight hours later during a follow-up operation in the same barangay, the same group of policemen clashed with Magsino's cohorts.
This resulted to the death of former barangay chairman Vivencio Javier, 55; Angelito Malabanan, 35; and Rolly Lachica, 50.
The policemen confiscated from the suspects a Glock .9mm pistol, a Winchester rifle, a hand grenade, a magazine for Glock .9mm pistol with seven live ammunitions, spent shells from caliber 5.56 and caliber .9mm pistols and blood samples.
Two persons, identified as Louie Austria and Allan Tapia, were taken in by the police for possible linkages with the group. (VR/Sunnex)
