99 more cadavers to arrive in Cebu City Tuesday (11:25 a.m.)

CEBU CITY -- Captain Ramon Ortez of the Philippine National Police (PNP) confirmed Tuesday that 99 more bodies retrieved from the ill-fated mv Princess of the Stars will be brought to Cebu City for forensic examination.

Ortez said mv Cagayan Princess, another vessel of Sulpicio Lines Inc., is carrying the second batch of bodies recovered from the sunken ferry in Romblon.

As of 11:30 a.m., the vessel carrying the bodies is still in between Lapu-Lapu City and Tayod, Consolacion.

"The attendants are still preparing the cadavers and as soon as the work is done, the bodies will be brought to Cebu City," said Ortez.

There's no estimated time of arrival yet for the said cadavers. (Sunnex)
