Agtaoa said the robbery was discovered by bank employees at 7 a.m. Monday when they reported for work. He said the bank was in complete disarray.
The official said the robbers entered the bank through the roof, taking advantage of the lack of security guards.
He said the robbers then disabled the closed-circuit television (CCTV) and the alarm after gaining entry at the bank.
He said Philippine National Police (PNP) scene-of-the-crime operatives (Soco) recovered at the scene a crow bar, and two Acetylene tanks. He said the robbers used acetylene to gain access to the bank's vault.
Agtaoa said they have held for questioning a janitor of the bank. (VR/Sunnex)
