BAGUIO CITY (Updated 7 p.m.) -- Typhoon Nina, which battered Central and Southern Luzon, exited the country Tuesday leaving 14 miners trapped in a mine site in Itogon, Benguet.

The miners were trapped at the level 700 of Antamok Gold Field in Barangay Loacan, Itogon as of this posting Tuesday. Rescuers have no idea of the condition of the miners.
