MANILA -- Malacañang said Philippine relations with China would remain strong despite government's decision to temporarily ban products from that country pending analysis and laboratory testing.

The Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) has prohibited the sale of at least 54 China-made milk products in the local market.
