KGMA-CL headquarters inaugurated at Del Sol site
By Ram Mercado

THE regional headquarters of the KGMA has been inaugurated Saturday in a simple blessing and prayer rites at its building along GSO road this city.

As the new center of the citizen's volunteer organization supporting President Arroyo in the May elections, the movement is headed by civic leader and businesswoman Tess Laus.

Laus, in remarks before friends, local leaders and GMA workers who attended the blessing, urged Pampangos to lead political efforts to elect a Kapampangan to the presidency.

The KGMA headquarters will house the facilities and support services for the GMA presidential campaign in Central Luzon.

"We are now involved in the giant task of spearheading parallel initiatives to put President Gloria on the top spot in Central Luzon," Laus, recipient of the recent Outstanding Fernandino awards, said.

She said the KGMA-CL group has harnessed volunteer workers from various sectors, largely the women's sector, in mobilizing massive voters' support to the President.

"Pampangos are in the forefront of this endeavor because at stake in the May polls is the future, by way of progress and development activities, in our province under a cabalen President."

Among those who attended the inaugural blessing are: Dr. Letty Yap, Tootsie Herrera, Abong Tayag, Nina Saplala, Lito Polintan, Restie Garcia, Satero Gan, Angel Kounghun, Ambet Domingo, Don Robonza, Vicky Gomez, Perla Tolentino, Jojo Manalese, Puring Bamba, Jess Limpin, Willie Villavicencio.
