CANDABA -- The Malisik dike in Barangay Mapaniqui this town, used as a waterway and reservoir to irrigate thousands of hectares of farmlands here, was scoured due to the strong velocity of the water current which came from Nueva Ecija.
The scouring of the Malisik dike submerged some barangays in the kapampangan region of this town such as Salapungan, Mapaniqui , Magumbali and Barangca, according to Mayor Jerry Pelayo.
