Darwin plans wipeout of Mabical beerhouses By Marna H. Dagumboy
FLORIDABLANCA -- In a bid to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation here, Mayor Darwin Manalansan recently directed the Municipal Police Office to conduct inspections for the possible closure of videoke bars in Barangay Mabical, this town.
According to Chief Insp. Samuel Sevilla, town's chief of police, the mayor has ordered the inspection to said establishment to eradicate the alleged proliferation of prostitution in the area.
Manalansan's order came with the 10th National Awareness Week for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, which bears the theme "Magkakaisa Labanan ang Pang-aabusong Seksual sa mga Bata (Uniting to Fight Sexual Abuse of Children)."
