APALIT -- An official of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) bared Wednesday that the fire truck in the town has been "out of commission" since February--the reason why it was "missing" in the recent blaze that destroyed a commercial building and a supermarket in Barangay San Vicente here.

Senior Fire Officer 1 Victor Joaquin, officer-in-charge of the Apalit fire office, said since their fire truck was out of order, they sought the assistance of other municipal fire stations to contain the fire.
