CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- For the second consecutive year, the Foundation for Lingap Kapampangan Incorporated (FLKI) has selected the Robinsons Starmills in the city to host a series of events for the annual Sinukwan Festival this year.
FLKI president Fr. Resty Lumanlan and vice chairman Jose Lazatin Thursday signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with executives of the Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC), owner and operator of Robinsons malls nationwide.
The festival, which will run from December 3 to 9, will feature a series of events, including the world-renowned street-dancing competition.
Among the many competitions that embody the spectacle are the photo contests, headdress competition, float parade, and the Lakan at Mutya Ning Sinukwan.
Officials of the FLKI noted the success of last year's event and the support provided by the mall management in choosing Starmills as host for this year.
Also present during Thursday's MOA signing are City Administrator Fer Caylao, Robinsons Starmills manager Mitz Vicente, Complex administrative manager Agnes Marcelino, RLC ad and promo director Eunice N. Gonzales, ad and promo manager Tess C. Miranda and events manager Shiela D. Vitug.(ABL)
