The grandeur of Lakeshore living
By Dennis E. Dungao

ANGELES CITY – With a flood of new people wishing to splash around the success they have attained, the Lakeshore will prove to be the best answer as to where to place those hard-earned money as investment — a well-deserved reward as fruit of labor.

The Lakeshore extends an invitation to live a status quo lifestyle. It is a total change from what we dogged-down urbanites have gotten used to. The Lakeshore’s primary attraction were basically fueled by mediocre cost housing and property package rates, while the irresistible enticement to embrace the charm of an ultimate lakeshore and country living will ascertain that its offerings are priceless.

An eclectic menagerie of earth, water and sky

Cuddled delicately by the fertile plains of Central Luzon, while mythical Mountain Arayat looms as backdrop in every sunset, the Lakeshore was made to bewilder. It overflows with the vibrant colors of life.

This exciting convergence of earth, water and sky promises a lifestyle that soars with never-ending possibilities. Get invigorated on the freedom of wide, open spaces and uncluttered horizon for it has 250 hectares of Pampanga’s prime lots.

The Lakeshore also brandishes a 12-hectare man-made lake located at its very heart. This flagship marker is one of a kind in the country. It was enhanced to accentuate the beauty of the property’s setting.

The dramatic vista of elements adds more enchantment to it, especially at dusk — the outbursts of psychedelic colors are simply magical. Nightfall by the lake is always a romantic affair. The rapidly shifting colors of dusk, reflected on the sun-tinged ripples on the lake soothes and mesmerize — perfect for lovers relishing togetherness, even a heartfelt moment for family bonding.

The lighthouse beacon casts a roving beam in the dreariness, a reassuring sentinel that harkens and summons. The Lakeshore’s nature-friendly environment creates a revitalizing sanctuary for residents. To stroll through tranquil parks and tropical gardens, flourishing with exotic flora and fauna is in itself a treat.

Promenades, parks, fountains, lakes, piers, resort island and of course, the lighthouse dots the Lakeshore’s landscape. The quaint Mediterranean-inspired homes were a sight to behold, dazzling and visually alluring.

In a profit-oriented field, very few developers preserve open spaces because doing so eats up much of the saleable areas and potential business profits. The vast expanse of the Lakeshore enables its developers to set aside open spaces. The luxury of space is all too pervading everywhere you set your eyes on.

An extraordinary 50-50 ratio of open and residential space exists at the estate. Noticeable too were tree-lined buffer zones whose leafy spaces promote healthier living by having cleaner air.

A place to raise a family

Variety is the spice of life. Developers of the Lakeshore didn’t overlook this basic principle. They were aware of this fact, knowing that if you plan to peg your life there, raise a family and build dreams centered at your home, then monotony and routine should be minimized.

The Lakeshore is a self-contained community. Each area and village around the estate evolves around a central theme. Although the different thematic villages are gated and exclusive, areas like the open-air plaza, the lake and parks are inclusive for everyone to enjoy.

Additional open space and parks are being developed this year. A church and community place (i.e. basketball, tennis, badminton courts, etc.) will eventually be integrated to it this year. To encourage community and family-oriented activities, an October Fest is currently in the offing, while events such as The Talent Night of Miss Earth International 2005 will be held here. The Lakeshore also holds summer concert series and festivals.

But of course, neighbors are a big factor in one’s social life too. Expect a good ones for most of the homeowners are urban professionals with dreams the same as yours.

At the Lakeshore, you actually go home to have a vacation. Now that’s a temptation not worth resisting! The feel to lose speed, cool the heels and hang out in a stress-free environment is an elusive commodity we city dwellers love to dream of.

Imagine, right before your doorstep is the view of the lake where you can go boating, fishing or just about savor the fresh, clean air every morning on its two-kilometer jogger’s lane — air’s absolutely free.

“Play where you live and live where you play,” is proving to be a factual catchphrase of the estate.

A major life-changing move

To follow your dreams is a life-changing move indeed. The Lakeshore is definitely a magnet for home-seekers who want to feel secure in the fact that they are in one of the most desirable places in Pampanga, albeit, even the whole country!

The decision to settle at the Lakeshore would be a quintessential move for any family — trust me, it will come easy on you upon seeing it.

In my opinion, and in my personal experience, I have no hesitation in recommending this place to everyone: armchair travelers, casual visitors, prospective residents, investment-seekers all.

For one, I plan to settle there myself, eventually. This place is perfect for connecting with friends and very ideal on where to raise a family. Now what else can you ask for?

One strong suit of the property is also the in-depth coverage of the various aspects of retirement life that many of our OFWs and regular employees need that’s worth mentioning. I must agree that many books and articles had been written by folks who has little, or no first-hand experience with living in a lakeshore and country community. Luckily, you don’t have to settle for my opinion because you can see it for yourself.

The Lakeshore is accessible in less than 30 minutes from almost any point south in San Fernando City and north in Angeles City.
