Nine of these college scholars will be enrolling at the Angeles University Foundation, which SM Foundation has recently tied up with, seven scholars will be studying at the Holy Angel University while one scholar will be enrolling at the Far Eastern University. Among the courses that will be taken up by the qualified scholars are Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering/Computer Science, and Bachelor of Science in Education major in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English.

Likewise, the first batch of SM Foundation College Graduates from Pampanga were presented to Henry Sy, SM founder and chairman, when SM Foundation recently feted its latest batch of graduating scholars last May 15, 2006 at the Mega Trade Hall in SM Megamall.

Leah Mangune, a cum laude graduate from the Holy Angel University, led fellow Kapampangan graduates Eldan Daniel Canlas, Evelyn Manlapaz, Roa Manlapaz, Maureen Reyes, Marlon Wijangco, Ria Nunag, Hazel Mallari, Rosalyn Aguilar, Maricar Bondoc, Emily Pebrero and Aiza Sambile.

Each of the graduates was given a congratulatory certificate and a wristwatch by SM Foundation. The very grateful students in turn gave Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sy, Sr. a mosaic portrait as a token of appreciation.

This year's batch makes a total of 500 SM Foundation College Scholarship Program graduates. The College Scholarship Program is one of the many ways SM Foundation reaches out to the less fortunate and has 400 scholars at any given time.
