Lakeshore developer calls allegations false By Dante M. Fabian
* Contends that Hipolito’s claims lack merit
* CCEI presents development permits, licenses to sell, conversion orders, DENR clearances and other documents to HLURB Region 3
* Developer moves for dismissal of complaint asking for temporary stop to sale of lots in The Lakeshore
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Central Country Estate, Inc. (CCEI), owner and developer of The Lakeshore, stood firm in their stand that allegations of anomalies hurled against the company are false, adding that the plush resort village in Mexico town was developed in full compliance with all government regulations.
The CCEI averred this in its position paper filed last Tuesday with the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) Region 3.
The developer, headed by former Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) president, architect Nestor Mangio, supported its position paper with complete documentary evidences to dispute what company executives called “false complaints being hurled by a certain Luisito Hipolito and his counsel lawyer Nicholas Aquino.”
The CCEI explained in its position paper that The Lakeshore has all the necessary permits, clearances and licenses from the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB), Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the Municipal Government of Mexico, among others.
The Lakeshore said “CCEI has sufficiently obtained the required Licenses to Sell from the Honorable Office (HLURB), prior to selling of lots x x x insofar as the development permit for the project is concerned, attached is a copy of The Lakeshore’s development plan with approval from the Municipal Government of Mexico, Pampanga xxx moreover, CCEI has obtained the necessary Environmental Compliance Certificate from DENR.”
The CCEI went on to explain “As to Hipolito’s allegation that CCEI (The Lakeshore) did not obtain clearance from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) and for allegations of illegal conversion, it is sufficient to state that such allegations must fail for lack of merit and jurisdiction as the case properly pertains to DAR and suffice it to say however that the DAR has issued an Order for conversion dated 6 July 2005 and a certificate of finality has been issued on April 24, 2006 xxx CCEI and the Honorable Office (HLURB) has every right to rely on the finality of the DAR conversion order.”
The CCEI is confident that a dismissal order will be issued by HLURB to finally dispose of the complaint filed by Luisito Hipolito.
The management of CCEI stands pat on its decision not to compromise with Luisito Hipolito and to pursue the case filed against him (Hipolito).
CCEI officials said Hipolito is now facing a criminal case filed with the Provincial Prosecutor of Pampanga.
The CCEI vows to fight to the very end Mr. Hipolito because the company built a good reputation in the industry with a lot of hard work and integrity.
Meanwhile, The Lakeshore had a very successful brokers’ meeting, which was graced by The Lakeshore endorser Boy Abunda. Several showbiz personalities, including Boy Abunda, bought lots at The Lakeshore.
