Relaxation and Fish Collection By Noel G. Tulabut
WANNA catch big fish while relaxing? Well, go no farther to the deep seas, but take a ride to a world-class resort community – the Lakeshore in Mexico, Pampanga.
The Lakeshore is one of the few places in the country where sports fishermen can hope to catch highly-prized game fish such as large mouth bass, red snapper and red paco, and they can cast their lines – not in stiff competition but in leisurely mood.
Two years after being introduced as fry into the lake’s 12-hectare environment, these feisty and tasty game fish have thrived and adapted to the carefully maintained waters of Loch Lakeshore. But it takes skill and lots of luck to catch these fighting fishy beauties.
The majority of fishing enthusiasts at the lake will most likely catch the ubiquitous denizens of the lake, the tasty tilapia and bangus which thrive by the thousands in the gentle waters, but a few were really lucky as they were able to get the better of this sport called fishing.
The Lakeshore is a world-class residential commercial and recreational development project of Central Country Estate Incorporated, a 30-minute drive from Balintawak tollgate, 12 minutes from Diosdado Macapagal International Airport, and just five minutes from SM City Pampanga and Robinsons Starmills.
The timeless elegance of classic Mediterranean architecture combined with the grandest elements of earth, water and sky creates a lifestyle that soars above and beyond the ordinary. This self-contained community boasts of its 12-hectare man-made lake framed by the majestic panorama of Mount Arayat. At the Lakeshore, everyday is a vacation.
Fishing at The Lakeshore is made beautiful with serene ambience complimented by recreational and commercial facilities for the whole family to enjoy. Aside from fishing, it also features a wide variety of water sports facilities such as non-motorized boating, kayaking and sailing. A white water jet fountain shooting up to 18 meters high will serve as a landmark and act as a filtering and aeration device. An island resort in the lake shall even enhance the splendor of this haven.
