Tuesday, October 10, 2006 Team 629 completes back-to-back title in badminton
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Team 629 recently duplicated their championship victory in the Ladies doubles category in badminton after being crowned as champions in the Level E of the ladies doubles category at the Excel Badminton held here recently.
The team is composed of partners Irene Torres and Pot Empedrad, both from Angeles City.
The two ladies, having been partners in playing the game for quite sometime now, had already developed discipline and hard work and had mastered the art of teamwork.
Torres and Empedrad got the other half of their back-to-back championship title in the Level D of the said category at the Playtex Badminton Center in Guagua town last August.
The two ladies are still looking forward in defending their back-to-back championship crown as well as competing for more badminton tournaments. (RCG)
