San Fernando's newest hang out place opens

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- After her long stint working with one Mrs. Chan and Wong Kan Wan of the Happy Valley in Hong Kong and venturing into the construction and school business, Mauricia "Cecille" Rocas put up San Fernando City's newest and trendiest watering hole -- Mauris' Grill, Bar and Resto.

This innovative place to chill out and dine opened on Nov. 28, 2006 with location at Villa Barosa, Olongapo Gapan Road. Bordering on Western Asian concept of dining and interior design, Mauris' Grill, Bar and Resto's primary offering are live entertainment -- acoustic, R&B and contemporary -- and delectable cuisine, which even has "Sizzling Balut" among its menu.

According to Rocas, the Western Asian concept of dining and entertainment is the trend right now in Hong Kong. Having a similar bar in Olongapo City named "Western Asia", which opened in 2005, Mauris wants to share the joy of discovery to the people of San Fernando when she decided to have Mauris' Grill, Bar and Resto in the area.

Affordable, yet classy, Mauris' Grill, Bar and Resto caters to the A, B and C markets. This reasonably priced resto-bar offers casual dining in a modern cozy environment.

The restaurant's operations manager, Ice Aranda, said Mauris also has a bar with an extensive wine list and unique cocktails.

Only minutes away from downtown San Fernando, make sure to check out Mauris' Grill, Bar and Resto, and enjoy sumptuous Western Asian food and listen to music that soothes the soul. (MHD)
