Village chief cites guv's 'sincere leadership'
By Marna H. Dagumboy

MASANTOL -- The president of the Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) in this town, Barangay San Agustin Chairman Jose Viray Jr., said Pamapanga Governor Mark Lapid "is well-loved in their town for his sincerity and good leadership."

Viray, who wished Lapid good health and more success in his political career, said the governor has been very visible in their community and has provided much needed services to their barangay.

Post your Valentine's Day greetings

He said two of Lapid's major projects in Barangay San Agustin are the construction of the barangay hall and day care center.

He said the people of Masantol, particularly those in San Agustin, are thankful for the barangay service vehicles given by the governor and Senator Manuel "Lito" Lapid.

He said he has been closely working with Governor Lapid since the time the Pampanga chief executive was the federation president of the Pampanga ABC. According to him, Governor Lapid is very courteous to the elder barangay leaders.

He also dismissed earlier reports against the governor saying the people know the truth about the quarry collections in the province.

The barangay leader also said many were disappointed with Guiao because of his "double standards" in his advocacy on good government. He said the governor still leads in surveys in their area.
