Various institutions were invited to a forum presided by Ceso manager Richard Prado and the regional director of the Philippine Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) to strengthen ties between the city and private corporations regarding employment for the Fernandinos.

The city's Livelihood Training Center (LTC) also participated in the Kaganapan celebration through free services of the graduates of Cell Phone Technician and Massage Therapy courses. A total of 160 Fernandinos availed of the free massage service, while the cell phone technicians rendered service repairs to 117 constituents in front of the City Hall.

The CESO staff also sold finished products of trainees in dressmaking and recyclable products, the proceeds of which were donated to the Sagip Bicol program of Mayor Oscar Rodriguez.

The activities aim to support the City Government's objective of sustaining a substantial increase in the number of employed Fernandinos and decreasing the unemployment rate here in the city, as one of the eight point agenda of Rodriguez.
