CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Video karera and fruit game machines confiscated by policemen from different areas of Pampanga were destroyed in front of the Provincial Capitol on Friday.

Pampanga Police Provincial Director Keith Ernald Ll Singian said this is "to prove their support to the campaign of the Provincial Government against illegal gambling" led by Governor Eddie Panlilio.

Singian, city and municipal police chiefs in the province, and representatives of the Agi-Orsite Inspecting Team of Camp Crame came in full force to show support to Panlilio's leadership and programs.

During the open forum, several requests from the chiefs of police were raised to Panlilio, such as funds for current logistical requirements of their respective offices, additional computers, gasoline allocation and other necessities during operation.

To the astonishment of the Pampanga police, Panlilio instantly signed a check amounting to P500,000 and handed over to Singian as initial funding for their logistical needs, which are of high priority.

"We are so grateful to Governor Panlilio's immediate action. Rest assured that this financial support will be reciprocated with better performance from the Pampanga police," Singian said. ( Reynaldo G. Navales)
